Amorphic sand Lobby

Project's description

Amorphic Sand Lobby

Guy and Doron Levy, a distinguished veteran construction company, developed a residential complex of 17 buildings in the Eucalyptus neighborhood in Be’er Ya’akov. Tzvia Kazayoff Studio was selected to design each of the building lobbies, creating a unified design DNA while treating every lobby as an individual space shaped by its own architectural characteristics.

Each lobby was approached as a distinct interpretation of a shared concept, allowing consistency across the project while maintaining a unique identity for every building within the neighborhood.

Architectural concept

The architectural language of the lobbies is modern, young, and soft, defined by rounded corners that convey a sense of progress and refinement on both architectural and aesthetic levels. Walls were constructed using flexible plaster and finished with durable willow plaster, enabling fluid forms and gentle transitions throughout the space.

Materials and details

Rounded walls and columns are embraced by bent brass panels, adding depth and subtle elegance. Alongside the monochromatic palette, veneer wood clads walls, columns, and mailboxes, introducing warmth and tactility. As a final layer, artist Efrat Ilan created custom artworks for each lobby, translating her personal interpretation of the space and reinforcing the project’s overall design language.
