Urban Cottage, Tel Aviv

This elegant house is a private cottage located in the heart of Tel Aviv, offering a sense
of calm, style, and balance within the intensity of the city. Developed over a five-year
design journey, the project resulted in a home defined by clarity, precision, and a
timeless architectural language.

Design approach

The house was designed to bring serenity into everyday family life, creating a refined
yet welcoming environment for a couple in their forties and their three children. Each
space was carefully planned to support both togetherness and privacy within an urban
setting.

Material palette

A consistent selection of materials runs throughout the home, including solid wood,
black metal, Taj Mahal marble, brass, leather, and fine textiles. These elements appear
across the various living areas, creating visual continuity and a warm, inviting
atmosphere.

Living in the city

By combining natural materials with precise detailing, the cottage introduces a sense
of peace and elegance into the center of a busy metropolis — a home that feels both
grounded and quietly luxurious.
