Your Sunshine

Project's description

Your Sunshine Penthouse, Be’er Sheva

This penthouse in Be’er Sheva is defined by an elegant gold-toned palette and a precise,
sun-inspired design approach. The project involved the renovation of an old three-room
attic apartment, originally measuring 130 square meters with a 124-square-meter balcony,
and its expansion into a 195-square-meter home with a 60-square-meter balcony.

Common areas

The public spaces were designed in a clean, modern language. A dominant wood-and-brass
power wall anchors the living area, while the dining space introduces rich black wood
elements and a dramatic black bookcase. The kitchen continues this darker tone with tall
cabinet fronts clad in wood, echoing the living room’s power wall and visually connecting
the dining and living areas into a single, flowing composition.

Private spaces and material palette

In the parents’ bedroom, as throughout the apartment, desert-beige tones dominate the
interior. This palette was chosen in direct response to the surrounding landscape.

As interior designer Tzvia Kazayoff explains, the penthouse is located in Be’er Sheva,
the capital of the Negev, where sunlight is present almost year-round. For this reason,
the apartment was designed with wide openings to welcome natural light, alongside colors
that reflect the warm, earthy tones of the southern environment.

Transformation

Through careful planning, expansion, and material selection, the penthouse underwent a
remarkable transformation into a refined, cohesive, and visually striking living space.
