Cultural Zed Apartment, Tel Aviv
Inspired by the nearby Tel Aviv Museum, this spacious apartment belongs to an art-loving
couple who relocated to the cultural center of the city after their children left home.
The design concept is precise and tailored — like an elegant formal suit — while still
offering softness, comfort, and a warm, inviting atmosphere.
Spatial concept
The rectangular plan is defined by clarity and order, expressed through parallel lines
that organize the space into built-in functions. The living room unfolds naturally from
the kitchen island, the dining area transitions seamlessly into a symmetrical library,
and continuous patterns reinforce a sense of rhythm and structure throughout the home.
Materiality and atmosphere
To balance the sharp geometry and formal layout, the design introduces a carefully
curated palette of colors and materials. Soft textiles and warm finishes were selected
to temper the symmetry and clean lines, creating a sense of intimacy and comfort without
compromising the architectural clarity of the space.
